Budget Breakdown: Oaxaca City
So compared to Mexico City, we spent about the same amount of money per day. The only outlier category is the alcohol, which we spent 3x more than we did in Mexico City... mezcal (Andy) is to blame for that. Plus, our cost for food could have been $27.00 cheaper if we didn't accidentally eat at an "expensive" restaurant. We learned a lesson: always check prices before committing to a restaurant and stay away from restaurants near the main squares!
